A series of black & white images that explore and capture the local landscape and well known
landmarks around Bristol and North Somerset. The images embody a feeling attachment and familiarity, but also express
a sense of loneliness within the moody ambient landscape, provoking a sense of nostalgia and place. Everyone will recognise
and remember certain places and each landscape holds a different feeling for different people. I deliberately try to avoid
people or distractions in my images, so the landscapes becomes free to their (the viewer's) memory, whoever may be observing
that photo at that particular moment in time.
