Little Heaven Workshop
Little Heaven Workshop will be at Broadwalk Arts, from 23rd - 29th August 2009. For the exhibiting and sale of Paintings and
Sculptures by Susie Hawkins.
View Literal landscapes in Acrylics and oils on canvas, in full colour, monochrome and sepia. Also crazy sculptures made
from paper pulp. Not sure what paper pulp is? No problem. Come and watch Susie in a live demonstration in Paper Pulp sculpting
on the 25th August from mid-day. There is also a Painting in Monochrome/ Black and white demonstration from 11am on the 27th
August.
Prepared canvas boards will be available for you to have a go at creating your own monochrome painting after the demonstration
at £5 per board. Alternatively visit Susie at her easel in the shop all week.
Susie Hawkins is an artist living and working in Bristol. Predominantly a landscape artist of 10 years, she works from
palette to canvas using no sketches and creates straight from the mind. Her Sculptures have been exhibited in various galleries
and shows across the country and can be found in different public locations around Bristol. An interest in her work has been
shown abroad as far as Holland and New Zealand and Nigeria. She has also been running a summer workshop for the local children
in her area for the past four years. Here they get first hand experience of making pulp, sculpting, picture and mirror frame
making, model building and of course painting.
