A RETROSPECTIVE- LUCY ADAMS
Textile Artist, Lucy Adams, is compiling all her previous works in a one-off retrospective exhibition which contrasts
giant 7ft tall flowers, with intricate stitching and beading on much smaller, palm sized pieces. The pieces on display will
range from sculptural pieces to installations and framed artworks.
Lucy lives in Weston-super-Mare and has exhibited individual pieces many times. Some of her work is humorous whilst other
pieces discuss her experience as a carer for someone with mental health problems. Her experimentation of different media
combined with her use of textiles result in a fascinating and inspiring show.
